America is Ready for a new Union.

In light of how the political climate has evolved in this country, it's especially true around here in my home town of Toledo, Ohio. It's like a drain. A brief example; A Guy wants to make a "difference" so he runs for office. To achieve this he needs money.  Govt unions back the guy. Then trade unions back the guy or vice versa. Guy gets elected. Building and road projects need to be dolled out. Guy owes payback to trade unions. Guy steers projects to Union trades. Union backs Guy in next election. And so on…. and so on… Thus the template.
Meanwhile, while in office, Guy continually supports/drafts laws to try to make the business climate favorable to these Trade Unions.  Also does the same for the Municipal Unions ( AFSCME, POLICE, FIRE,etc.) with "Me Too" type legislation.
This behavior goes on and on each election cycle. Adding more and more politicians at the bargaining table setting policy and negotiating and approving labor contracts with unsustainable pension obligations. This goes on for generations. Even the Newspapers and TV news entities get in on the act by packaging any Union news in a favorable light, first for favorable access to Guy/ Guys in office.  Also, they're Union, too, so they propagate the narrative of blindly supporting ANY Union Brother issues though their Robin Hood lenses.  This is the American Standard Theatre of Government.
A veritable Tidy Bowl spectacle of corruption.  Round and round.  Year after year - with every overlapping tax levy, every new Labor Contract.  Putting all society in the awful position of fighting off drowning in debt while circling the drain.  How do we get this to stop?

When looking at all the Unions their membership makes up at best 20% of the labor force.  Now look at the AFL- CIO. Dozens of Unions fall under their umbrella.  Now what if the other 80% of us Workers could unite?  Then, what if we got Employers - the job creators - to Unite with us. To create, within the private sector, a symbiotic relationship? One with a set of standards to keep further governmental intrusions at bay? United together to preserve Capitalistic Liberty? We could call this: The Union of Everyone Else.

A Union of Everyone Else could be:

  • An organization of workers and employers - pledging to promote and preserve prosperity for each other by not infringing on each other's Inalienable Rights of Life, Liberty, and their Pursuit of Happiness.
  • Membership for both would be VOLUNTARY.
  • Corporate and Small Businesses could contribute.
  • Organizations like the Tea Party , AFP etc could all join in and pool resources for ad campaigns.
  • Work to get Liberty Minded folks elected to office at all levels.
  • Business members could gear their advertising to a Liberty Mindset.
  • Abolish the IRS and replace with the FAIR TAX.
America is ready for a new Union.
